Lucky enough to see these before wide release:
Babel
Stranger than Fiction
both, excellent
The Proposition
Ick:
Beowulf and Grendel (Toronto version) - cannot say enough bad things about this movie, but Stellan Skarsgaard was really really good as King Hrothgar
The Puffy Chair (sundance liked it why?)
The King (Gael Garcia Bernal has been cloned and he and his double are in 60 movies this year alone)

Wow, you are back!
Glad you liked Stranger than Fiction - it's on my list. I am also intrigued by Babel, but may have to netflix it.
I am posting everyday in November as a part of NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). So far so good, so far still loony.
Yeah, liar, you could do well, but don't forget that lobbyists have to wear suits every day and spend a lot of time in Washington...
Bernal should only do films that make him not so pretty, like The King or Science of Sleep (or even Babel). Oops - that's already 3 this year where he's not pretty. Perhaps only one per year where he's pretty (Bad Education) and not pretty (definitely Babel).
